In recent times the meaning of the word architecture has extended to include many aspects of life. At the same time the process of building has become subject to fewer and fewer limitations both formal, functional and technological. Designing requires a varied and many-sided approach, and an interdisciplinary character. As architecture is a combination of different needs, abilities and ambitions, it can not be subjected to immutable limits and definitions. Even its very essence is subject to changes together with development of civilisation.
