In this paper there is an attempt to specify the term of Cross-Docking as well as its main benefi ts are presented. In the chain of deliveries it is easy to spot many possibilities which make Cross-Docking easier. They can make the delivery of goods among members of the delivery chain quicker. In the organization sphere of the delivery chain connected with the passing of products through the storage, Cross-Docking is crucial. Cross-Docking is a basic rule in case of quick shipment of products in form of being ready to send among deliverers and clients. By eliminating the stage of storing the products in a storage room before further shipment, Cross-Docking reduces the costs of service and storing and causes minimalisation of stops number on the product’s way from the production to its destination
