Abstrakty

W artykule omówiono problem zaludnienia Ziemi i wykorzystania jej podstawowego bogactwa – wody. Zwrócono uwagę na politykę wodną Turcji, zależności pokoju na Bliskim Wschodzie od wody, dominującą pozycję Egiptu w sporze o wody Nilu, a także na zasoby wodne Himalajów. Przedstawiono zagadnienie wyżywienia ludności świata w czasie zmian klimatycznych, a także następstwa braku gruntów rolnych i żywności, z zaakcentowaniem takich zjawisk, jak ucieczka ludności ze wsi i landgrabbing. Omówiono również kwestie pozyskiwania terytoriów i zasobów w szarych strefach prawa oraz walki o dobra Ziemi i jej wpływu na geopolitykę mocarstw światowych. Na zakończenie ekscerpowano zagadnienie poświęcone przyrostowi naturalnemu ludności i jego prognozom.

The article discusses a problem of the Earth population and the use of its primary resource - water. Further on, the authors write about water policy in Turkey, the influence of peace on water situation in the Middle East, a dominant position of Egypt in the conflict for the Nile water, and about water resources of the Himalayas. Also, the article outlines the issue of food provision for the world population in time of climate changes, and the effects of the lack of agricultural fields and food, with emphasis on such phenomena as migration of country people to urban areas and landgrabbing. The writers discuss the process of gaining territories and resources in shadow economy and the struggle for the Earth resources and its effect on geopolitics of world powers. In conclusion, the issue of birth-rate and its prognoses has been excerpted.
