Abstrakty

EN

Scientific and technology progress and the development of new information technology caused that new concepts of waging wars began to rise at the end of the XX century. Many of the concepts shows that information becomes the strategic and economical reserve while the information technologies are the most effective means of using it. The author presents widely many conditions which had the influence on the process. In historical and chronological aspects, he describes the conditions of information operations, then he presents the essence of information operations and he points at the place of the kind of operations. He also focuses on the issues of getting information superiority. There are some aspects involved (according to American opinions): creating information battlefield space, so called infosphere; getting data and their distribution; infosphere protection; attacking the enemy infosphere, its information systems. The paper is finished with a number of conclusions about information operations and getting the information superiority.
