W referacie przedstawiono powody budowy elektrowni na barkach pływających. Podano przykłady stosowanych rozwiązań, głównie układów energetycznych. Wskazano na kierunki zmian i tendencje rozwojowe. Dla wielu państw jest to alternatywa budowy elektrowni lądowych.

It was presented the reasons of floating power plants construction. It was given the examples of applied solutions, mainly energetic systems. It was indicated the direction of changes and the growth tendency. This is an alternative for construction of ashore power plants for many countries.
