W artykule omówiono przeznaczony dla Internet of Things standard komunikacji – Data Distribution Service (DDS) i jego obecne zastosowania. Zaprezentowane są badania dot. prędkość przesyłu danych za pośrednictwem DDS uwzględniające m.in. wpływ ustawień różnych polityk jakości QoS na przepustowość transmisji danych. Porównano wykorzystanie zasobów dla transmisji danych bez użycia mechanizmu DDS z transmisją z użyciem omawianego mechanizmu.

The paper discusses the communication standard – Data Distribution Service (DDS) for the Internet of Things and its current applications. The studies on the speed of data transmission via DDS are presented, including impact of settings of various QoS quality policies on data transmission speed. The use of resources was compared for data transmission without the use of DDS mechanism with transmission using the discussed mechanism.
