The conditions of cooperation of wind power stations with an electric power system are defined in various legal acts. Nevertheless, observance of the technological requirements does not solve such problems as unstable operation of a power source or insufficient conditions for electric power generation. The paper presents the most important legal and technological conditions, the problems of reactive power compensation and energy storage.
