CET, jako przedsiębiorstwo specjalizujące się w produkcji przewodów słaboprądowych, otworzył właśnie nowy rozdział swojej działalności produkcyjnej, wprowadzając do oferty nowe, nieprodukowane wcześniej wyroby. Nowo uruchomiony park maszynowy w jesieni zeszłego roku rozpoczął produkcję kabli sygnalizacyjnych. Produkty te ujrzały światło dzienne już w lipcu 2007 r. Wtedy jednak musiały zostać poddane badaniom technicznym, które zostały przeprowadzone w laboratorium firmy oraz w zewnętrznym urzędzie certyfikującym.

Each practical task has its constrains. They limit the number of potential solutions. Incorporation of the constraints into the structure of an algorithm makes it possible to speed up computations by reducing the search space and excluding the wrong results. However, such an algorithm needs to be designed for one task only, has a limited usefulness to tasks which have the same set of constrains. Therefore, sometimes is limited to just a single application for which it has been designed, and is difficult to generalise. An algorithm to estimate the straight line representing a milling Edge is presented. The algorithm was designed for the measurement purposes and meets the requirements related to precision.

Industrial engineers gather knowledge during their bachelor studies through lectures and practical classes. The goal of practical class might be an extension of knowledge and/or a consolidation and application of already gathered knowledge. It is observed that there exists a gap between theory learnt during lectures and practical classes. If practical classes require holistic approach and solving complex tasks (problems), students strive with understanding relations and connections between parts of knowledge. The aim of this article is to show an example of a simple practical assignment that can serve as a bridge between lectures and practical classes through discussion of interactions and relations between parts of theoretical knowledge. It is an example of in-class simulating of a line and cellular layout considering discussion of elements impacting and impacted by the type of layout (e.g. learning curve, changeovers, etc.). In-class verification of the presented approach confirmed its usability for teaching industrial engineers and bridging the gap between theory delivered through lectures and more advanced practical classes.

Rozważania koncentrują się wokół problemów poetyki tekstów Jarosława Marka Rymkiewicza pochodzących ze zbioru „Zachód słońca w Milanówku”. Szczególnie interesujące wydaje się być, strategiczne w założeniu, połączenie struktury wierszowej, rażącej wręcz banalnością, z takąż samą najczęściej, szeroko rozumianą warstwą stylistyczną oraz eschatologiczną tematyką. W artykule próbuje się wykazać sensowność i celowość połączenia nadmiernie prostej formy z „wysoką” nutą podejmowanej problematyki, oscylującej wokół spraw ostatecznych - przemijania, śmierci, starości. Autorka jest skłonna uznać tego typu zabiegi za współczesny sposób prezentacji - pełen dystansu, ironii/autoironii - tematów ważkich, lecz powtarzalnych. To jakby poetycka samoobrona przed trywialnością: poprzez maksymalne ujawnianie banału – odejście od banału.

The garden of poetic tradition. Some remarks on the "Sunset in Milanówek" by Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz The considerations revolve around the issues of the poeticsof the texts by Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz from his collection “Sunset in Milanówek”. Particularly interesting is the strategic connection of the poetic structure of the line, blatantly banal, with the same broadly defined stylistic aspect and eschatological themes. The article tries to show the wisdom and desirability of combining the overly simple form with the "high" note of the subject matter, oscillating around issues of final character – passing, death, old age. The author is willing to consider such actions as a modern method of presentation – distanced, full of irony /self-depreciation – weighty topics, but repetitive. It is like a poetic defence against the trivial: through the maximum disclosure of banality – adeparture from the banality.

In this paper the application of OpenTrack software for computer modelling of the line from Varaždin to Dalj is presented. It is 249,839 km long single track line with 25 railway stations and 32 additional train stops. The created model was tested on trains running times calculation where the comparison of simulation results with the official time table data planned by infrastructure manager proved the quality of the model. In addition, comparison of energy consumption between diesel multiple unit (HŽ series 7121) and the train powered by diesel electric locomotive (HŽ series 2044) with five wagons is carried out.

The article deals with the issue of passenger choice of the means of transport, highlighting the transfer time as one of the main factors influencing consumers' preferences. Two mathematical methods of modeling of the passenger demand for rail transport in the function of train velocity have been presented, preceded by the definitions of basic terms connected with the issue. The influence of train velocity on the flow of passengers between Warszawa Centralna and Kraków Główny has been analyzed.

W opracowaniach dotyczących nowych rozwiązań technicznych proponowanych do stosowania w telekomunikacji górniczej niektóre sformułowania są odmiennie interpretowane i budzą pewne wątpliwości zarówno użytkowników, jak i organów nadzorujących zakłady górnicze. Dotyczy to m.in. takich pojęć, jak: serwer telekomunikacyjny, łączność dyspozytorska, prowadzenie eksploatacji systemu telekomunikacyjnego zgodnie z dokumentacją techniczną itp. Autor na podstawie swoich wieloletnich doświadczeń projektowych i atestacyjnych próbuje ustosunkować się do tych wątpliwości.

In literature, there are some new terms related to new technical solutions in mining telecommunications. These terms may be interpreted differently and may cause misunderstandings among users and mining authorities. These are, for example: telecommunications server, supervision links, exploitation of a telecommunications system, etc. Based on long-term experience, the author tries to clear up these uncertainties.

Great masters expressed their architectural thoughts through lines drawn by hand on sheets of tracing paper. Will the new technology in the form of parametric design tools, computer models, 3D pens and spatial printing become a distinctive feature of our times? A concept presented in the form of an architectural design becomes most valuable when it is put down on paper through soul and hand, like a violinist transferring a melody to the strings with a sensitivity of an author. In spite of the development of computer technology, at the stage of impressive concept designing there is an even greater need for the return to hand-drawn designs. In view of electronic media, it shows a high quality of the architect’s technique, original and individual approach and specific value of handmade creation.

Wielcy mistrzowie wyrażali swoje zamysły architektoniczne poprzez kreskę zapisywaną ręcznie na arkuszach kalek. Czy nowe technologie w postaci narzędzi do projektowania parametrycznego, modeli komputerowych, piór 3D oraz wydruków przestrzennych staną się cechą rozpoznawczą naszych czasów? Zapis koncepcji w formie projektu architektonicznego staje się najcenniejszy, kiedy dociera na arkusz poprzez połączenie duszy i dłoni, jak skrzypek przekazujący melodię z autorską wrażliwością na struny. Pomimo kształcenia technik komputerowych, na etapie koncepcji wrażeniowych istnieje co raz większa potrzeba powrotu do projektów rysowanych ręcznie. Na tle elektronicznego zapisu świadczy to o wysokim poziomie warsztatu architekta, o jego jednostkowym i indywidualnym podejściu do zadania oraz o szczególnej wartości odręcznego wykonania.

The article presents the characteristics of the prints obtained in various classical and digital printing techniques and the impact of the printing technique on the quality of barcode printing. It was also shown the results of the study of the line quality parameters printed in the different techniques: offset, flexography, gravure, electrophotography, ink-jet and thermal transfer printing.

Zdarza się, że linia bywa znakiem. Częściej jednak jest zapowiedzią lub błędem, nieraz odłamkiem, przypadkiem, niedopełnionym Początkiem, odciskiem bądź splamieniem. Nie kieruje do Źródła, jedynie z niego wyprowadza. Zapowiada sens własnej egzystencji i jednocześnie go narusza. Sugerując, iż jest jej przypisany pre-sens, przyobleka spodziewane znaczenie w poza-sens. Uparcie wyraża pochwałę pustki znaku. Niczego nie naśladuje, gdyż obca jej jest wszelka imitacja. Trwa samotna i nierzadko zbędna. A jednak nieoceniona – niezastąpiona – dyskretnie nieobecna. Linia poza narracją, poza estetyką, ale też nie nieestetyczna. Godna, by przyjrzeć się jej przez egzystencjalizm i psychoanalizę, warta przeanalizowania z punktu widzenia pragmatyzmu i szkoły frankfurckiej, gotowa na wiwisekcję fenomenologiczną i semiotyczną, podatna na ustalenia teorii systemów, uległa względem kryteriów empirycznych oraz przygotowana na zwodnicze koncepcje antysztuki. Każda z estetyk wpisanych w określony nurt filozofii miałaby zapewne swoją własną diagnozę kondycji linizmu. Także antyestetyka mogłaby mieć na jej temat dużo do powiedzenia.

A line happens to be a sign. More frequently, however, it is a promise or an error, sometimes a fragment, a random occurrence, incomplete Beginning, an imprint or defilement. It does not direct to the Source, it only comes out of it. It presages the sense of its own existence, at the same time violating it and suggesting that it has an assigned pre-sense, it clothes an expected meaning in beyond-sense. It obstinately expresses the praise of emptiness of a sign. It does not imitate anything because any imitation is strange to it. It perseveres alone, at times even redundant. And yet invaluable – irreplaceable – discretely absent. A line beyond narration, beyond aesthetics, but not unaesthetic in the least. Worthy of examining through the prism of existentialism and psychoanalysis, of being analysed from the point of view of pragmatism and the Frankfurt School, ready for phenomenological and semiotic vivisection, susceptible to findings of the theory of systems, submissive to empirical criteria and prepared for deceptive concepts of anti-art. Each aesthetics which is part of a specific philosophical trend would certainly have its own diagnosis of the state of linism. Anti-aesthetics could also have much to say about it.

In altpolnischer Zeit umfasste diese Diözese die Regionen Przemyśl und Sanok in der Wojewodschaft Lemberg (Lwów) und den Kreis Lubaczów (Wojewodschaft Bełz). Się zählte 18 100 Quadratkilometer und war in territorialer Hinsicht die kleinste Diözese in der Kirchenprovinz Lemberg. Den größten Einfl uss auf die Grenzen der Diözese Przemyśl hatten im Berichtszeitraum die Jahre der nationalen Unfreiheit. Seit 1821 umfasste das Territorium der Diözese Przemyśl fünf politische Kreise: Jasło, Przemyśl, Rzeszów, Sambor und Sanok. Vor dem Ausbruch des 2. Weltkrieges umfasste das Territorium der Diözese Przemyśl etwa 21 000 Quadratkilometer. Auf diesem Gebiet funktionierten die Verwaltungsstrukturen des griechisch-katholischen und des armenischen Ritus. Przemyśl war ostkirchlicher Bistumssitz und in Sanok residierte die Apostolische Administratur für das Lemkenland. Im Herbst 1939 fi elen die formalen Entscheidungen über die staatliche Zugehörigkeit der von der Sowjetunion okkupierten Gebiete. Am 27. Oktober 1939 beschloss die sogenannte Volksversammlung der Westukraine den Anschluss der besetzten Gebiete an die UdSSR. Bischof W. Tomaka zufolge befanden sich folgende Dekanate unter sowjetischer Okkupation: Dobromil, Drohobycz, Jaworów, Mościska, Rudki, Sambor, Wisznia und ein Teil des Dekanats Lesko mit 75 Pfarreien. Zur UdSSR gehörten außerdem ein Teil der Dekanate Przemyśl-Stadt, Jarosław und Sieniawa. Zunächst unterstanden die unter deutscher Besatzung stehenden Gebiete westlich des San dem Oberbefehlshaber Ost. Nachdem am 26.Oktober 1939 das „Generalgouvernement für die besetzten polnischen Gebiete” entstanden war, wurden diese Gebiete dem GG einverleibt, und die Grenze am San war jetzt de facto die Grenze Deutschlands. Der westliche Teil der Diözese gehörte zum Distrikt Krakau, der eine Fläche von 26 150 Quadratkilometern einnahm, und die nördlichen Randgebiete der Diözese befanden sich nun in den Grenzen des Distrikts Lublin. Die Grenze zwischen den beiden Besatzungszonen wurde erst am 1. November 1941 auf Befehl von Hans Frank aufgehoben. Eine tragische Folge des 2. Weltkrieges für die lateinische Diözese Przemyśl bestand im Verlust eines beträchtlichen Teils ihres Territoriums. Infolge der Entscheidungen der „Großen Drei” in Teheran sollte die Nachkriegsgrenze Polens entlang der Curzon-Linie verlaufen. Den defi nitiven Verlauf der polnisch-sowjetischen Grenze auf dem Territorium der Diözese Przemyśl regelte der am 16. August 1945 in Moskau unterzeichnete „Vertrag zwischen der UdSSR und Polen über die Staatsgrenzen”. Infolge dieser Verschiebung der Staatsgrenze verlor die Diözese Przemyśl de facto ungefähr ein Drittel ihres Territoriums (etwa 7000-8000 Quadratkilometer). Außerhalb ihrer Grenzen verblieben 74 Pfarreien (4 von ihnen kehrten 1951 zu Polen zurück) und 646 Ortschaften. Auf dem Gebiet der Sowjetukraine befanden sich folgende Dekanate und Pfarreien der lateinischen Diözese Przemyśl. Die Absteckung der Ostgrenze Polens an der sogenannten Curzon-Linie hatte auch Einfl uss auf die staatliche Verwaltungsstruktur. Nachdem Lwów (Lemberg) für Polen verloren war, begann Rzeszów den Rang der Wojewodschaftshauptstadt anzustreben. Von diesem Augenblick an befand sich das gesamte Territorium der Diözese auf polnischem Gebiet in der Wojewodschaft Rzeszów.

The article presents calculations enabling the selection of an on-board energy storage device to replace diesel-powered trains with modern storage multiple units on the example railway line Gdynia Główna - Hel. The pioneering and currently used storage electric multiple units, mainly in Europe, were presented. The condensed results of the inventory of the line in question, including the technical condition of the stations of the non-electrified line 213 Reda - Hel, are included. Moreover, an analysis of the terrain possibilities of building new passing loops aimed at increasing the capacity of line 213 is presented. The calculations of the theoretical passage and energy demand of the storage train unit on the non-electrified part of the analyzed route are presented. The results of the calculations were used to select the on-board energy storage consisting of batteries and supercapacitors.

W artykule przeprowadzono obliczenia pozwalające na dobór pokładowego zasobnika energii do zastąpienia pociągów z napędem spalinowych przez nowoczesne zasobnikowe zespoły trakcyjne na przykładowej trasie Gdynia Główna - Hel. Przedstawiono pionierskie oraz obecnie stosowane zasobnikowe elektryczne zespoły trakcyjne, głównie w Europie. Zamieszczono skondensowane wyniki inwentaryzacji rozpatrywanej linii, w tym stan techniczny stacji i przystanków niezelektryfikowanej linii 213 Reda - Hel. Ponadto przedstawiono analizę terenowych możliwości budowy nowych mijanek mających na celu zwiększenie przepustowości linii 213. Zaprezentowano obliczenia przejazdu teoretycznego oraz zapotrzebowania energetycznego zasobnikowego zespołu trakcyjnego na niezelektryfikowanej części analizowanej trasy. Wyniki przeprowadzonych obliczeń wykorzystano do doboru pokładowego zasobnika energii składającego się z baterii akumulatorów oraz superkondensatorów.
