The author introduces the subject of neutrum in three dimensions: (1) paradigmatic, (2) syntagmatic, (3) paradigmatico-syntagmatic. 1. Upon paradigmatic dimension of neutrum we mean its systemic placement in the structure of three partial members of grammatical category of gender. 2. Syntagmatic dimension of neutrum we understand as an application of neutrum in the construction process of the certain types of syntactic structures. 3. Paradigmatico-syntagmatic dimension signifies not only application of neutrum in the syntactic structures, but also its inevitable clustering in charging this syntagmatic dimension together with members of other grammatical categories, specifically with the 3rd person within the grammatical category of person and with the form of singular as a member of grammatical category of number.

Based on the critical analyses of monographic work written by Wroclaw's slavist Jaroslaw Lipowski named 'Convergence and divergence of Czech and Slovak languages in Czechoslovakia' (Wroclaw, 2005) the author writes about the relations of Slovak and Czech language in 20th century. The traditional slavistic question is treated on the background of the generally accepted knowledge that Slovak and Czech are two structurally and genetically different but close Slavonic languages. In exploration of the subject matter author pays special attention to methodological questions. .

In connection to the first part of author's essay on dangling participle construction that was published in Slovenska rec, 2007, vol. 72, No. 4, pp. 193 - 203, second part is focused on the following four themes: 1. participle and participle construction, 2. non-normative participle constructions, 3. dangling or absolute participle constructions, 4. former forms of participle in validity of other word classes. The main effort is aimed at the analysis of actual dangling and absolute participle constructions within the frame of foundational sentence obtaining status of parenthesis or parenthetic construction.
