The aim of this article is to present the researches concerning verification of the control processes in company management on capital market. In the first part of the article theoretical aspects about control processes in company were presented. In the second part researches concerning the control processes in stock management in cement industry company. The paper considers the active reduction of torsional Vibration of work machine driven by constant current electric motor. Loading of work machine is of cyclic type. The constant ratio gear is fitted between output shaft of electric motor and input shaft of machine. Control system of electric motor has as a task stabilisation of rotational velocity of work machine. In result of this control the torsional vibration shafts of machine appear. The main idea of this paper is active reduction of torsional vibration of output shaft of motor with the aid of actuating of torsional moment at the end of this shaft.

Definitions of drug offences must remain in agreement with the principle of nullumcrimen sine lege certa, which demands a precise definition of the subject of thesecrimes, namely illegal psychoactive substances. A basic legislative technique in thisregard is the creation of lists of controlled substances determined by annexes to theappropriate legal acts. Their advantage is precision, but the undoubted disadvantageis low elasticity. In the case of the appearance of a new psychoactive substance, itremains legal until it has been placed onto the appropriate list. This did not have muchsignificance when the market was dominated by well-known substances of natural orpolysynthetic character, and the appearance of new substances was rare. Already inthe 1970s, however, the phenomenon of purely synthetic substances began: so-calleddesigner drugs. They were often primarily created to avoid the existing system ofcontrol: sometimes small changes in the molecular chain of an illegal substance yieldeda new substance of similar psychoactive qualities that did not come under scrutiny.This phenomenon accelerated significantly in the 1990s. The phenomenon of so-callednew psychoactive substances (NPS) became a serious problem, specifically when theybegan to be offered for sale on a wider scale in special shops (so-called smart shops),or on the Internet as a legal equivalent of an illegal narcotic (so-called legal highs). Therace between legislators and chemists “inventing” more and more substances entereda new phase at that time.The answer for legislators in many countries of the world was so-called genericdefinitions, or analogue definitions, under which whole groups of substances cameunder control. However, in many countries these raise constitutional objections, due totheir partially-determined character. This is why the dominant method is still makinglists, which requires the phenomenon of ceaseless revision. Accompanying this isthe problem of evaluating the legitimacy of dispersing controls on new psychotropicsubstances that are provided for illegal narcotics. New psychoactive substances are mostoften poorly understood during the moment when a decision is being made about theirillegalisation: not much is clear about their psychoactive qualities, their potential tocause addiction (dependence potential), their acute toxicity, nor their chronic toxicity.This raises questions about the criteria used for making decisions about illegalisation:are these decisions based in reality on scientific evidence (evidence-based decisions), orare they also taken based on a precautionary principle. In the latter case, banning themis essentially of a political nature and is being done just in case.An example of a formalised procedure of risk assessment linked to new psychoactivesubstances is the European early warning system carried out under the supervision of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addition (EMCDDA). Therisk evaluation procedure begins with a technical report prepared by EMCDDA andEuropol, who must provide all scientific information on the subject of the givensubstance. A proper evaluation is performed by a broad scientific committee of theEMCDDA. In its report, the committee presents only the facts. On their basis, a finaldecision is taken by the European Commission. If they decide on the control option,member countries are obliged to add the substance to their national lists of controllednarcotics. Since the number of new psychoactive substances appearing in recent years hasrisen dramatically, this system has begun to reach the limits of its efficiency. Due tothis, even during the previous term of the European Parliament, work had begun ona new directive about the issue, the draft of which proposed abandoning the system ofdichotomous treatment of psychoactive substances as either illegal narcotics or as legalsubstances. It is to be replaced with a tripartite separation of psychoactive substancesinto those which present a low risk to health, society and safety (not subject to anylimiting measures), moderate risk (subject to bans on them entering the market, butnot controlled for research, medical or veterinary goals), and high risk (subject tocontrols designed for narcotics).The problem of new psychoactive substances, so-called legal highs, appeared inPoland on a wider scale around 2007-2008. The initial reaction of the legislature wasof a standard character and consisted of extending the lists of controlled substances.This was done in March 2009, June 2010, and April 2011. It was only in October 2010that new control mechanisms were introduced. Due to the concept of substitute drugs,“legal highs” were put under administrative controls differing from the control systemfor intoxicating agents and psychotropic substances. Eventually in July 2015, anotheramendment to legislation on the prevention of drug addiction, on the one hand,extended the list of intoxicating agents and psychotropic substances by another 114substances (consequently, the lists used in Poland now included 428 substances). Onthe other hand, it expanded new forms of control for these substances. Within thisframework, the Ministry of Health introduced a list of new psychoactive substancesin an annex to the regulations, which eases and speeds up the process of addingamendments. Sanctions associated with the illegal turnover of these substances havean administrative rather than criminal character and do not affect normal possession.Despite attempts to find an indirect way, the consequences of Polish politicstowards legal highs are quite paradoxical. Twice after extending the list of controlledsubstances (in June 2010 and July 2015), an increase appeared (a dramatic one in July2015) of poisoning attributed to legal highs. This was certainly a result of the marketreacting to illegalisation. It was due to the replacement of these newly-illegal substanceswith something often markedly more harmful.

Phenomenon of a stage freight – no matter how we define it – is a common problem also experienced by preachers. Specific features of preachers’ stage freight is related to its theological connotations. Its source, most of all, is an awareness of the duty to preach the Gospel and priestly responsibility for the Word of God mixed with anxiety of being unworthy of the mission bestowed upon them and an ordinary human fear of failure and embarrassment. Since the sources of preachers’ stage freight are of a theological character, it is also mainly a supernatural level on which it should be dealt with - through prayer, development of a preacher’s spiritual life, openness to the Holy Spirit as well as a constant care of a proper, preliminary and final, preparation for preaching. When it comes to an anthropological dimension it is important for a preacher to develop an internal balance between an emotional tension and a thoughtful assessment of one’s abilities – through affecting a psychic and somatic sphere by an autosuggestion and relaxation techniques. Nevertheless a preacher should remember that a moderate stage freight is almost a necessary phenomenon, since an optimal level of a psychic tension (for a specific person) is good for one’s readiness. After all, what kind of a preacher it would be, if he lacked passion and involvement while preaching!

W artykule przedstawiono metodę sterowania parametrami azotonawęglania gazowego przy użyciu instalacji typu "sterowania cyklem", złożonej z sondy wodorowej, regulatora azotu, regulatora temperatury oraz pieca do azotonawęglania. Azotonawęglanie prowadzono w atmosferze otrzymanej z amoniaku i endogazu, zaś etap chłodzenia zrealizowano w dwutlenku węgla. Analizę metalograficzną azotonawęglanych próbek przeprowadzono po procesie regulowanego azotonawęglania. Również wykonano syntetyczny opis podstawowej charakterystyki procesu azotonawęglania i podano jego zalety.

A method of controlling the gaseous nitrocarburising process parameters with the use of a control loop type instaliation which is mainly composed of the hydrogen probe, the nitriding controller, the temperature controller and the nitrocarburising furnaces is presented in this paper. The nitrocarburised experiments were performed in an atmosphere obtained from ammonia and endogas and the cooling stage was performed in carbon dioxide. The metalographical analyses of the nitrocarburised samples obtained in controlled nitrocarburising conditions are reviewed. A brief description of main nitrocarburising characteristics and advantages is also realized.

One of the elements significant for the testing of combustion engines is the equipment for measurement of air consumed by the engine. The air excess coefficient, which depends on air consumption, is an important variable required for classification of combustion processes and evaluation for engine gas emissions. The paper deals with the solution of a flow field of a designed non-standardized measuring element with the objective of measurements and control of the air excess coefficient of the non-conventional combustion engine. In particular test stand (combustion engine – absorptive cooling equipmen)t, measuring element of the suction section of the combustion engine, modeling of the boundary layer, distribution of velocities and pressure field, distribution of density and temperatures in the flow field, course of static pressure and velocity in the measuring element axis for the engine torque, velocity profiles in cross sections, regulation of y+ parameter, comparison of velocities in dependence on torque, comparison of mass flow and pressure difference, contour of kinetic turbulent energy m2.s-2 for standardized and non-standardized measuring element, search dependence are presented in the paper.

This article contains the description of MEMS accelerometers implementation to device which is able to measure danger tilt. We can find out actual tilt in two basic axes X and Y, from -90 centigrade to +90 centigrade. Z Axis can only detect fall of device or in vehicle system very fast downhill grade during movement. For testing of the solution we select small mobile robotic carriage. Hardware and software part of solution are described. Because data from sensor are in raw format from analog MEMS Accelerometer, we use free C# library with Kalman Filter implementation to remove signal error. We can acquire next information from sensor data for example movement's trajectory in X/Y axis (Cartesian system) and actual speed in all three axes. Fast alarm is provided by RGB led diode (red color is dangerous tilt.

A crucial element of the mechanism to prevent corruption in public administration is the explicit procedure of reacting to corruption events, regardless of whether it is based on ISO procedures or if it results from another system of legal solutions. The statutory anti-corruption solutions introduced in public institutions in the form of management control involve the staff abiding by ethical values, and they serve to improve the transparency, legal conduct, and ethics in the operations of a public administration office. The results of empirical research confirm that the implemented management control procedures form integral parts of the anti-corruption system in public entities.

The paper investigates a generalized model of a magnetorheological fluid damper (MRD). Rheological behaviour of MR fluids is described and so is the Spencer model taking into account the effects of magnetic field fluctuations in the MRD gap on the magnitude of damping force. It is demonstrated that the Spencer model does not fully emulate the real behaviour of the MRD, especially at low current levels. Some modifications of the model are suggested, whereby a nonlinear function is introduced, enveloping the family of damping force curves. The thus formulated generalized model is then verified experimentally. The model efficiency is confirmed by investigation of MRD control in a semi-active vibration isolation system for a quarter car body.

W pracy opisano (uogólniony) model dynamiczny liniowego tłumika magnetoreologicznego uwzględniający wpływ fluktuacji pola magnetycznego w szczelinie roboczej na siłę tłumienia. Wykazano, że model ten dokładniej odzwierciedla rzeczywiste zachowanie tłumika w porównaniu z modelem sformułowanym przez Spencera. Zaproponowany model zweryfikowano eksperymentalnie. Dla potwierdzenia efektywności modelu przedstawiono przykład jego zastosowania w układzie zawieszenia pojazdu, w którym wyniki symulacji komputerowej zweryfikowano z przeprowadzonym eksperymentem.

In the paper a method of load positioning and minimization of load final oscillations in rotary cranes has been presented. Drive functions of the slewing of an upper structure have been determinated by means of dynamic optimisation. In the optimisation task a simplified model has been used. A completely stiff supporting structure of the crane has been assumed. A feedback control system has been proposed to compensate for influences of flexibilities that have not been taken into account during the optimisation and for inaccurate knowledge of parameters of the model. The effectiveness of the control system for two different controlled variables has been analysed. A special coefficient for quantitative analysis has been proposed. Results of numerical simulations have been presented.

W pracy zaprezentowano metodę pozycjonowania i minimalizacji końcowych wahań ładunku w żurawiach obrotowych. Funkcja napędowa obrotu nadwozia została dobrana na drodze optymalizacji dynamicznej dla uproszczonego modelu zakładającego całkowitą sztywność układu nośnego żurawia. Zaproponowano układ regulacji kompensujący wpływ nieuwzględnionych podczas optymalizacji podatności i niedokładnej znajomości parametrów modelu. Do ilościowej oceny jakości pozycjonowania zaproponowano specjalny wskaźnik. Zaprezentowano wyniki symulacji numerycznych.

The study presents the assumptions of a probabilistic diagnosis of the production process of concrete mix on the basis of time-dependent assessment of the compressive strength of concrete. An appropriate record of a continuous production process of concrete was proposed (letter and graphic marking) and three groups of models qualifying manufacturing processes of bitumen mix were formulated in terms of their stabilization. It was suggested that the developed theory could be possibly used, among other things, in the creation of expert control systems and regulation of processes in the automated production plants manufacturing prefabricated elements (the production of sets by on-line method) or motorway surfaces of cement concrete with a continuous reinforcement [17].

A model allowing programming and testing of traffic lights according to established control algorithm was also presented. In the paper, influence of control surface failures on UAV aircraft dynamics is investigated. A method for control loads determination for a nonlinear UAV aircraft model is presented. The model has been developed to analyse the influence of various control surface failures on aircraft controllability and to form the background for developing reconfiguration methods of flight control systems. The analysis of the control system failure impact on the aircraft dynamics and the ability of the control system to reconfiguration are presented.

The aim of serial compensation is improving the voltage flow in a given network node. Such units are both to protect the whole of the network against the negative influence of non-linear loads and to protect the loads against distortions coming from the network. This paper presents principles of work of active serial compensation system. It's about using adaptive methods for controlling compensation units. This methods are using the techniques of adaptive digital filters i.e. Kalman's filtration algorithms. Simulations were conducted in MatlabŽ/SimulinkŽ environment. The obtained results show high efficiency of work of active compensation system with application of adaptive digital methods.

One of the primary ethical concerns raised by the prospect of using military autonomous killer robots is the question of the moral responsibility for their use. Robert Sparrow argues that military robots fitted up with the ability to learn would be so independent and self-contained that they would allow human actors to deny responsibility for their use, creating a situation that Andreas Matthias called a “responsibility gap.” A responsibility gap occurs in situations where no one is responsible for the actions of autonomous learning robots. This situation results from the inability of people to fully control and predict the actions of these technologies. In the article, I argue that this conclusion is not a correct one because autonomous technologies do not mitigate people of responsibility for the consequences of using them. Control and predictability are not inevitable prerequisites for attributing responsibility. Given the risks that the use of such weapons presents, those who create or use these weapons are morally responsible for the weapons’ actions. Even though the deployment of autonomous lethal weapons might not be a good idea, the “responsibility gap” does not by itself make them immoral.

Thermal errors caused by the influence of internal and external heat sources in machine tool structure can cause up to 70% of total machine tool inaccuracy. Therefore, research on thermal behavior of machine tool structures is crucial for successful manufacturing. This paper provides an insight into the modeling of highly nonlinear (increasing with the complexity of the structure) machine tool thermal behavior using thermal transfer functions This approach to modeling is dynamic (uses thermal history) and, due to its relative simplicity, it enables real-time calculations. The method uses very few additional gauges and solves separately each influence participating in the thermal error. The main objective of the article is to describe the estimation of angular deformations occurring at the tool center point due to thermal influences. Transfer functions are used for the identification and control of additional internal heat sources. The second aim is to compare modeling effort with approximation quality. A partial objective is to cover other nonlinearities occurring generally in machine tool thermal behavior. The approach has been verified on a closed quill (a simple and symmetrical machine tool part) and applied on a model of a machine tool structure which has been chosen as the least favorable from the thermal point of view.

The work is concerned with the optimal control and correction of a three-axis gyroscopic platform fixed on board of a flying object. The deviations from the predetermined motion are minimized by means of a method of programmed control, an algorithm of the optimal correction control, and selection of optimal parameters for the gyroscopic platform.

The paper deals with synthesis of automatic control system for an unmanned underwater robotic vehicle. The problem of determining permissible propulsive forces and moments necessary for optimum power distribution within a propulsion system composed of azimuth propellers (rotative ones). To allocate thrusts the unconstrained optimization method making it possible to obtain a minimum-norm solution, was applied. A method was presented for assessing propulsion system capability to generate propulsive forces (set control inputs). For the case of lack of such capability an algorithm was proposed making modification of their values and determination of feasible propulsive forces (i.e. permissible control inputs), possible. A numerical example which confirmed correctness and effectiveness of the proposed approach, was also attached.
