Hungary has taken up the foundation of special engineering capabilities (bridge-building and water-purifying) within the frames of the Prague agreement. Society is affected by the military restructuring - as we are talking about an important element of the government and (institutional structure). Big and well-structured formation such as this has a double relationship with their external and internal environment. Determining factors coming from the external environment: the requirements targeting the current system. The basic function/goal: the content of the application emerging in quantitative and qualitative parameters. The circumstances which are objective on one hand, and subjective on the other – in case of political institutions determine the decision. The author groups these as external military conditions, effects possibilities and factors, which influence the re-structuring the military.

Making use of the experience and the development of military terminology

The armies of western countries make significant efforts to process the experience earned in different peacekeeping missions, conflicts, war and other sources and make use of it in military training and technical development. At the same time, the Hungarian military has not built a system to make use of this experience and it is wasted away. Since our NATO membership, the success and speed of exchanging old terminology with presently used modern ones among the allies varies.
