In her article, the author discusses the changes in per capita disposable income in households, changes in disposable income in the case where 1993 = 100, pace of changes in that income, changes in the size of household measured with the number of persons or the number of consumer (spending) units in particular socioeconomic types of households that have occurred since 1993. In the case of employees' households, there are separated data for the households where its head is a blue-collar or a white-collar employee. The carried out analyses show that there are occurring differences in the size of disposable income between the socioeconomic types of households. There is also a great differentiation in the demographic situation of households belonging to various socioeconomic types.

В статье обсуждаются изменения в располагаемых доходах на одного человека в домашних хозяйствах, изменения в располагаемом доходе в том случае, когда 1993 г. = 100, темп изменений в атом доходе, изменения размера хозяйства, измеряемого числом лиц или числом потребительских единиц в отдельньгх социально-зкономических типах хозяйств, произошедшие c 1993 г. В случае хозяйств трудящихся были обособлены данные для хозяйств, в которых глава домашнего хозяйства является работником, занятым в качестве рабочего и нерабочего. Из проведенных анализов вытекает, что имеют место различия в обьеме располагаемого дохода между социально-зкономическими типами хозяйств. Существует тоже большая дифференциация демографической ситуации хозяйств, принадлежащих к различным социально-зкономическим типам.

This article presents the results of surveys on the scope of poverty within the country as a whole and within the separated socio-demographical groups. Observation of poverty — its scope and dynamics — was based on the surveys of household budgets that were carried out by the CSO in 1990-2003. In the article, a particular attention is paid to the factors that condition poverty, and to assessment of the changes occurring in the sphere of poverty.

Настоящая статья представляет результати исследований по размерам нищеты в масштабах страны и выделенных социально-демографических групп. Наблюдение за нищетой ее охватом и динамикой основали на обследованиях бюджетов домашних хозяйств, проводившихся ЦСУ в период 1990-2003 гг. В статье особое внимание уделено факторам, обусловливающим нищету, и оценке перемен, происходящих в сфере нищеты.

Income of the agricultural population and changes therein depend on many factors. The surveys show that the barrier in demand for foods, production ties and price relations cause quite great changes in income earned by the farmers' holdings. One of the effects of introduction of market mechanisms to the economy is change in the relation between retail prices for foods and purchasing prices for agricultural produce what is presented in the article.

Из нсследованнй вьітекает, что барьер спроса на продукти питання, производственньїе связи и соотношения цен приводят K довольно большим изменениям в доходах хозяйств земледельцев. Одним из зффектов введення рьіночньїх механизмов в зкономику стало изменение соотношения розничньїх цен на продуктьі питання c ценами закупок сельскохозяйственной продукции, что и представляется в статье.

Kolejną część opracowania stanowi analiza wyników badań ankietowych dotyczących między innymi oceny możliwości podejmowania działalności agroturystycznej na obszarach wiejskich w województwie świętokrzyskim. W artykule zawarto również ocenę perspektyw rozwoju turystyki wiejskiej (w tym agroturystyki), a także wyróżniono jej trendy rozwojowe.

At present rural tourism has very good prospects for development. The demand for such tourist services in Poland and other countries increases on an annual basis. The paper discusses the importance of agritourism as an altemtnt j source of income in rural areas. It also presents level of advancement in agritourism activities in the Świętokrzyskie province in 2008. These processes are still not very advanced. There are 418 farms engaged in such activities in Ihm different areas. Therefore, interviews were carried out with farmers who have plans to engage in such business. Basti on the interviews it was found that such intentions are common among the significant part of farmers. They seem It have a solid theoretical background and a precise vision of the future tourism-oriented activity. However, farm were hardly afraid about little interest in their offering due to peripheral location as well as objective diffictiltiis and barriers. Rural tourism (including, agritourism) is a very important development opportunity in rural areas.

Opisano zależności między popytem na owoce a dochodem. Do aproksymacji krzywych Engla wykorzystano funkcje Tornąuista dla dóbr pierwszej potrzeby, wykładniczą z odwrotnością i potęgową. Otrzymane modele zostały poddane weryfikacji statystycznej. Na podstawie oszacowanych parametrów wyznaczono i zinterpretowano dochodowe elastyczności popytu.

This paper deals with issue concerning the dependency between consumption of fruit and disposable income in retirees’ households. Data employed in this study came from the Household Budget Survey carried out by the Central Statistical Office in 2003. In the article three functional forms for approximation of Engel’s curve are applied. All considered models fit the data well. Obtained results are applied to analysis of income elasticity of fruit consumption.
