Renzo Piano believes that freehand drawing gives freedom, it is instinctive, and its imperfection provokes change and continuous improvement. The briefness of the sketch forces us into a synthetic way of thinking and to capture only the essence of things. Based on examples of Renzo Piano’s works from different periods, we can observe the evolution of his very personal vision of the museum, his thinking about form, the relationship with the environment, with the audience and finally his approach to issues of natural lighting in an exhibition space.

Renzo Piano uważa, że odręczny rysunek daje wolność, jest instynktowny, a jego niedoskonałość prowokuje do wprowadzania zmian i ciągłego ulepszania. Lakoniczność szkicu zmusza do syntetycznego myślenia i uchwycenia istoty rzeczy. Na przykładach autorskich rysunków z różnych okresów twórczości można zaobserwować, jak rozwija się jego bardzo osobista wizja muzeum, myślenie o formie, relacji z otoczeniem, z widzem czy w końcu podejście do kwestii oświetlenia naturalnego przestrzeni ekspozycyjnej.

Pierwsza instalacja do dezynfekcji promieniami UV została wykonana w Marsylii w 1910 r. W latach 50. stosowano ją jako alternatywę dla chlorowych środków dezynfekujących dla ujęć wód górskich w Szwajcarii. Jednakże obecnie coraz częściej stosuje się tę technologię, ponieważ wzrasta rozpoznawanie tak skutków ubocznych dezynfekcji chlorem, jak i niezawodności promienników UV. W artykule zostaną przedstawione najważniejsze zagadnienia z zakresu dezynfekcji UV.

W technologii uzdatniania wody basenowej najważniejszą rolę odgrywa odpowiednia dezynfekcja, bowiem zaniedbania na tym polu niosą za sobą przykre konsekwencje. Do niedawna standardowo stosowanym dezynfekantem byt podchloryn sodu. Używanie tego środka w nadmiarze prowadzi jednak to pogorszenia zapachu i smaku wody, podrażnienia oczu oraz skóry. Jest to obecnie problem istotny z uwagi na częste alergie. Aby zmniejszyć ilość podchlorynu sodu i jednocześnie zdezynfekować wodę coraz częściej stosuje się dziś ozon.

The article describes the circumstances surrounding the construction of the new Parisian museum by Frank Gehry. From the beginning dynamic form of Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation induce various associations among critics of architecture. Kim Willsher asks in the title of her article "Is it a cloud? Is it a cocoon?". Leigh Silver invents even weirder comparison: "(...) Frank Gehry created a new structure in Paris looks like a robotic insect or an alien hive". Another controversial project made by prominent architect caused a multitude of protests in the city considered to be open to the modern architecture.

W artykule opisano okoliczności towarzyszące budowie nowego paryskiego muzeum autorstwa Franka Gehry'ego. Dynamiczna forma Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation od początku wywoływała różne skojarzenia wśród krytyków architektury. Kim Willsher pyta w tytule swojego artykułu "Czy to jest chmura? Czy to jest kokon?". Leigh Silver wynajduje jeszcze dziwniejsze porównania: "(...) Frank Gehry stworzył nowy budynek w Paryżu wyglądający jak robotyczny insekt, albo ul obcych". Kolejny kontrowersyjny projekt wybitnego architekta wzbudził falę protestów mieszkańców, uważanego przecież za otwarte na nowoczesną architekturę, miasta.

Głównymi elementami biorącym udział w mieszaniu masy betonowej w mieszalnikach planetarnych są ramiona mieszające oraz lemiesze. Najbardziej narażone na zużycie ścierne są lemiesze. Wykorzystując nowoczesne technologie inżynierii odwrotnej: digitalizację, obróbkę chmury punktów, systemy CAD oraz drukowanie 3D, możliwe było szybkie wariantowanie konstrukcji lemieszy, analiza numeryczna oraz wykonanie prototypów.

Essential elements participating in mixing concrete mass in planetary agitators there are shoulders mixing and ploughshares. The most exposed to the abrasive wear and tear are ploughshares. Using modern technologies of the Reverse Engineering so as: digitization, processing of the cloud of points, systems CAD and printing 3D, was possible fast shape structure of ploughshares, numerical analysis and making prototypes with technology of printing 3D (FDM). Through to using modern CAx integrated systems and equipment possibilities it was possible fast construction structure of the ploughshare and direct conducting endurance analyses.

Photoluminescence (PL) of the absorber layer of ZnO/CdS/Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells has been studied. Baseline process solar cells as well as structures subject to a damp heat treatment and sodium - free structures have been investigated. The excitation intensity and temperature dependence of the photoluminescence spectra have been measured. A large blue shift of the photoluminescence bands for increasing excitation intensity has been observed with a per decade shift value ranging from 10 meV for baseline cells to 35 meV for Na free cells. This is characteristic behaviour for spectral bands due to transitions involving random potential fluctuations in highly compensated In-rich near-interface layer of the Cu(In,Ga)Se2 film. The temperature evolution of the spectra indicates two types of PL transitions: the tail-impurity and band-impurity transitions. The change of the PL spectra upon the damp heat treatment is discussed.
