The considerations included in the paper apply to the problem of the multi-criteria evaluation of transportation systems with constraints on delivery times in supply chains. For this reason, the identification of the transport network model and the nature of the configuration of the supply chain itself was carried out. In addition, a review of issues of the multi-criteria evaluation were done with respect to transportation systems. Later, the problem of the transport service of a distribution system were formulated and then, the results were analysed using the multi-criteria method. Finally, the paper examines the impact of the threshold of compliance and the threshold of non-compliance on of the final outcome of the solution.

Rozważania zamieszczone w artykule dotyczą problematyki wielokryterialnej oceny systemów przewozowych przy ograniczeniach na czas dostawy w łańcuchach dostaw. W tym celu dokonano identyfikacji modelu sieci transportowej oraz istoty konfigurowania samego łańcucha dostaw. Ponadto dokonano przeglądu problematyki oceny wielokryterialnej w aspekcie systemów przewozowych. W dalszej części sformułowano problem obsługi transportowej systemu dystrybucji, a następnie przeanalizowano otrzymane wyniki wykorzystując metodę wielokryterialną. W końcowej części artykułu przeanalizowano wpływ wartości progu zgodności i progu niezgodności na wynik końcowy rozwiązania.

Issues related to the optimisation of transport systems in which some restrictions on delivery time exist have been discussed. To this end transport systems have been characterised, the input data of the considered optimisation problem have been identified and a respective optimisation task has been formulated. A method to accomplish the task is presented and a computer application capable to solve such issues is characterised. The final part of the paper presents the results of a computational experiment conducted for a sample distribution system.

Stanowi ona zatem wyodrębniony zbiór kanałów rynku i sprzężeń między nimi. Integralną częścią systemu dystrybucji są systemy przewozowe jako elementu systemu transportowego, których celem działania jest optymalne zaspokajanie potrzeb transportowych zgłaszanych na danym obszarze. Rozważania zamieszczone w artykule dotyczą problematyki optymalizacji systemów przewozowych, które realizują zadania przewozowe przy losowym popycie występującym w systemie dystrybucji. W tym celu dokonano identyfikacji modelu systemu przewozowego, oraz sformułowano zadanie optymalizacyjne dla obsługi transportowej rynku.

Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na potencjał systemu przewozowego i jego ocenę w aspekcie realizacji zadań przewozowych. Przedstawiono formalny zapis potencjału systemu przewozowego oraz zdefiniowano wskaźniki jego oceny zarówno cząstkowe jak i wskaźnik ogólny. Teoretyczne aspekty związane z potencjałem systemu przewozowego i jego oceny zweryfikowano na przykładzie problemu badawczego, który został przedstawiony w końcowej części artykułu.

The article discusses the problem of potential of transportation system and its evaluation. For this purpose, the identification of the transportation systems and their classification were done. More over the transportation system model, its elements and mathematical formulation were performed. Particular attention has been paid to the potential of the transport system and its evaluation in terms of the transportation task realization. Also the mathematical formulation of the potential of transportation system and its partial and general evaluation indicators were presented. The theoretical aspects of potential of transportation system and its assessment were verified on the calculation example, which was presented at the end of the article.

In the first stage optimization task for transportation services was formulated and in second stage gathered solutions were evaluated with multicriteria method. From the macroeconomic point of view distribution is a process and structure of transport goods from producers to final consumers. It makes up so the distinguished gathering of the channels of the market and couplings between them. Transport systems are integral part of distribution systems as the element of the forwarding system aiming in optimal fulfilling forwarding needs notified on the given area. Considerations put in the article relate to the problems of the optimization of the transport systems which realize transport tasks near random demand stepping out in the system of the distribution. Transportation system model was identified. Optimization task of servicing transportation market was formulated.

Nieodłącznym elementem wspomagającym proces przepływu towarów w łańcuchu dostaw jest transport, który bezpośrednio wpływa na sprawność realizowanych procesów logistycznych. Niezbędne, zatem staje się określenie związków transportu z otoczeniem wyrażających się w wielkości zapotrzebowań na usługi przewozowe zgłaszane przez otoczenie oraz sposobu ich realizacji przez system transportowy. Zasoby definiowane, jako czynniki wytwórcze posiadane lub kontrolowane przez firmę, również firmę transportową, determinują realizację zadań przewozowych i wpływają na racjonalizację systemu przewozowego. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane aspekty racjonalizacji systemów przewozowych w łańcuchu dostaw przy ograniczonych zasobach, jakimi w rzeczywistości dysponuje firma transportowa. Uwzględniając wielkość zadań przewozowych oraz zasoby, jakimi dysponuje firma zaproponowano metodologię formułowania zadania optymalizacyjnego w aspekcie organizacji systemu przewozowego. Ponadto w artykule przedstawiono również studium przypadku dotyczące racjonalizacji systemu przewozowego przy ograniczonych zasobach, jakim dysponuje firma.

Transport is the inherent element supporting goods flow process in supply chain and directly affecting the efficiency of logistics process. Therefore it becomes necessary, to prescribe connections between transport and its surroundings defined as the size of a transport services demand reported by the surroundings and the method of its realization by the transportation system. Resources defined as a set of production factors owned or controlled by the company, also the transportation company determines the realization of the transportation tasks and affects the rationalization of the transportation system. The article presents selected aspects of the rationalization of the transportation systems in the supply chain with limited resources, which are in fact at the transport company disposal. Including the size of the transportation task and the company available resources, the methodology of the optimization tasks formulation in terms of transportation system organization was proposed. In addition, the article presents a case study on the rationalization of the transportation system with limited resources, which are at company disposal.

The paper presents the problem of designing transportation system for goods distribution with usage of multicriteria decision supporting method. The general characteristic of transportation system as an element of distribution system was presented. Moreover, the distribution system was identified as a one of the most important elements of supply chain which aims in making products available in place and time matching client needs. In further part the problem was mathematically formalized to optimization task. Analyzing the problems of modeling conveying system forces claim that decisions taken within area of transport organization consist in solving complex decision problems. Complexity follows from the demand of best decision according to many aspects. Solution must ensure othe best realization of all partial criteria (aims) taken into account during decision making process. The article contains characteristics of methods of multicriteria evaluation with regard to short literature review. The emphasis was placed on ELEKTRA and MAJA methods which can be applied in the evaluation of complex decision problems in transportation systems. The last part of the article is verifies of presented issues by tneans of numerical experiment.

The article presents identification and characterization of transport infrastructure which is needed element for effective functioning of the Logistics System of Poland.
