The dynamics of the Polish labour market brought about a situation, where human capital is the main barrier in the development of business. The situation is caused by the increase in the demand for employees, and a range of other barriers: long, medium and short term. The article presents recommendations for actions, which will limit their negative results. In the current reality, employee market sets defined challenges for macroeconomic policy and organisations. The growth of wages, correlated with adequate growth of labour productivity, is a special challenge. (original abstract)
