Abstrakty

Scharakteryzowano proces migracji osiedleńczej i migracji wahadłowe, a następnie przedstawiono czynniki wpływające na ruchliwość lokalną mieszkańców województwa śląskiego. Zmiana ruchliwości lokalnej w wyniku migracji wahadłowych wpływa na konieczność stworzenia nowej polityki w zakresie inwestycji komunikacyjnych dotyczących zarówno ich rozmiarów, jak i kierunków przestrzennych.

The migrations of people are the expression of arising some low and high centers of population. These demographic phenomena appear in the strict connection with the economic and social processes. The classical expression of that are concentrations of the economy and population in the Silesian Province. The social and economic transformations which have occurred for the last forty years and specially in the last decade of the bygone century let observe the mechanism of the connections and tendencies of the migration processes and particular the pendulum migrations. The relations of the market economy with the migrations, and migrations with the progress in the movement of technology have been presented on the example of the Silesian Industrial District (GOP) in this article.
