The studies are concerned with a long-term analysis of the need for farm buildings. It is generally known that in order to calculate the needs as regards the stock of farm buildings it is necessary to determine, beside the need for "new" buildings resulting from an increase in the cattle stock, also the need resulting from restitution. Thus, it is necessary to determine the increasing technical use of the stock of farm buildings by means of adequate measures - models, that is to determine the need resulting from replacement and modernization of the existing stock, which means the restitutional need.(original abstract)
