Abstrakty

Scharakteryzowano polsko-słowacką strefę przygraniczną omawiając: pozarolniczą działalność produkcyjno-usługową, kształtowanie systemów infrastruktury techniczno-ekonomicznej, regionalną i lokalną współpracę gospodarczą oraz istniejące i potencjalne obszary depresji społeczno- gospodarczej i warunki ich ograniczenia.

The paper deals with the barriers and possibilities of the Polish-Slovak frontier area development. Special attention is given to the non-agricultural sphere of production, and technical infrastructure. It is also concerned with the conditions of the interstate economic co-operation development and possibilities of limiting the area of social and economic depression. The analysis is based on the factographic material of the year 1992, and as regards unemployment - of the year 1993. The results are presented by means of cartographic techniques.(original abstract)
