The dynamic growth of restorative justice, which has become noticeable in recent years, can be perceived as the product of two tendencies: emphasizing the role of community in the individualistic social reality and stressing the importance of cultural distinction of minority groups. Created in such context collective forms of restorative justice contribute to realization of postulates, which are put forward within both of mentioned trends. In result these procedures become instruments designed for strengthening and integrating communities, especially these groups, which are different from the rest of population because of their cultural specificity. This paper focuses on one of such cultural sensitive alternative dispute resolutions i.e. on circle court, the special variant of restorative conference, which has been created in order to improve the living conditions of native people, among others, Canadian Indians and Australian Aborigines.
