The paper presents selected issues of a regression depth concept introduced by Rousseeuw and Hubert and generalized in a vector optimization framework by Mizera. Results of a simulation study of a maximum regression EM estimator is presented. Finally, some practical consequences of a regression depth estimator application are shown on an example referring to a Polish district economic development in 2000 and 2004 year.
