Study of historical data throws light on the period of Academy of Sciences of Ukraine formation in 1927-1940. In particular, there is a narration about a House of scientists, cultural and educational center of Ukrainian scientists that engaged scientists in public work, arranged and implemented mutual assistance of various sections of the population, popularized scientific and technical knowledge as well as it was a real incentive of the off-science life, original membership club, one of the most popular institutions in the country.
