The aim of the paper is to examine the existing legal regulations concerning security and protection against pedophilia of children using public discussion lists on the internet and to assess these regulations and suggest changes which would take into account the relevant IT conditions. The authors use the materials available on the internet. They pay a special attention to ambiguity of the regulations and the issues causing controversies. The authors present their arguments for certain solutions and additionally support them with the views included in the doctrine.
