Evwery investment decision should be based on properly conducted economic calculation. The examination of investment effectiveness is a significant part of such calculation. It shows if the planned investment multiplies the invested capital and whether the pace of this process is adequate. The paper compares the most frequently applied assessment methods as regards maximum deviations of variables from the basis Ievel.
