Abstrakty

The article aims at the presentation of the description and of statistical analysis of regional differentiation of unemployment in Poland in years 1995 - 2004. Source data were taken from the Labour Force Survey. The authors analyze the impacts of both, the sectoral employment structures as well as the value added, on the regional rates of unemployment. In addition, it is attempted to explain the influence of the dynamics of regional GDP on the changes in the rates of regional unemployment during the indicated time frame.
