A project commissioned in 2006 by the Department of Social Policy of the Lesser Poland Office of the Speaker of the Dietine, was primarily aimed at analyzing human resource management practices in terms of their effectiveness in holding and attracting valuable human capital. Ten entities took part in the study. At this point it is important to note that in meeting its obligations as founding body, the Lesser Poland Voivodeship Local Government oversees twenty-three health care facilities and sanitary transportation units.
