The article presents attempts to identify the needs and problems of modern e-learning and designed a solution that meets the needs of the recipients of e-learning and e-learning content providers. On the basis of this analysis, it was found that the market lacks the e-learning platform that meets all the needs and requirements in remote education. E-learning systems are very poor functionally, and tools for achieving the objectives, such as content creation, content distribution, management learning, and synchronous online meetings appear as separate applications that do not necessarily work well together. Most often each of them must be used separately that extends the preparation of training materials, and is a burden in the administration and supervision of the training course. On the basis of the analysis of remote training needs of recipients and creators of content proposed solution supporting distance learning. On the basis of the analysis of literature and research of user behavior designed and developed an integrated e-learning platform that meets the expectations of the users. The system has successfully motivating tool to complete training and does not require expensive implementation. The main objective of the proposed system was to eliminate the disadvantages observed in other systems. It was found that the human factor impeding the effective acquisition of knowledge as lack of motivation for self-study and the lack of contact with the teacher. In order to minimize the impact of these factors on the educational goals proposed solutions such as elements of competition and extensive virtual classrooms.

Risk assessment for ERP system implementation

In this article, based on the results of questionnaire sent to 50 companies with different employment size, events affecting the failures of the ERP system implementation were identified and their risk level as well as additional costs related to preventive actions (reducing the probability or effects of the problem occurrence) were investigated. To evaluate the risk values of chosen ERP system implementation tasks, PMI (Project Management Institute) standard was applied.

The paper presents the examination of quality of transmission designed and built based on IP/MPLS technology as well as BGP and OSPF routing protocols of corporate network. It indicates the factors forming and affecting the service quality in IP network, including QoS support network architecture, particularly the architecture of DiffServ differentiated services. Main problems occurring in these architectures have been discussed. The analysis of data and voice transmission via IP network of Best Effort architecture and in Differentiated Service architecture of differentiated transmission quality have been conducted. It has been presented that the MPLS technology may be effectively applied in building corporate networks requiring network services of highest quality parameters with lossless packet transmission and maximum delay guarantee.

W artykule przedstawiono przykład rozwiązania systemu wspomagającego nauczanie z zakresu komutatorów. Zaprezentowano możliwości systemu dydaktycznego umożliwiającego wszechstronne ćwiczenia w ramach tematyki multiplekserów i demultiplekserów. Omówiono również możliwości systemu wspomagającego nauczanie z zakresu zagadnień komutatorów do realizacji funkcji logicznych.

The article describes an example of a solution for system aided teaching of commutators. Possibilities and versatility of exercises of didactic program used for teaching of multiplexers and demultiplexers have been presented. Possibilities of didactic system for teaching of commutators in realizations of logical functions were presented too.

W artykule omówiono rezultaty otrzymywania in situ kompozytów MMC (metal matrix composite) wzmacnianych TiC, otrzymanych techniką HTS (high temperature solution), z zastosowaniem Co jako wysokotemperaturowego rozpuszczalnika. Badano wpływ koncentracji roztopu Ti-Co na reakcję tytanu z grafitem oraz na rodzaj tworzącego się kompozytu. Próbki topiono w tyglach wykonanych z korundu za pomocą grzania indukcyjnego w temperaturze powyżej 1500 degrees centigrade. Uzyskane próbki badano przy użyciu interferencyjnej mikroskopii świetlnej, transmisyjnej mikroskopii elektronowej (TEM), oraz mikroanalizy rentgenowskiej.

This paper presents results of obtaining in situ composites MMC (metal matrix composite) strengthened with TiC by the HTS (high temperature solution) method, using Co as the high temperature solvent. The influence of Ti-Co melt concentration on titanium - graphite reaction and on the kind of composite formed was examined. The samples were melted in a corundum crucible which was heated in a high frequency furnace at temperature higher than 1500 degrees centigrade. The ingots obtained were investigated using optical interference microscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray microanalyser.
