This experiment is concentrated on working position for optimization of capillary heat pipe. The main objective was to find optimal working position for capillary heat pipe. Working position is an important part for function of the heat pipe. A change in working position should change thermal performance of capillary heat pipe.

Przedstawiono wpływ położenia lampy wyładowczej w światłowodowym systemie oświetleniowym na rozkład natężenia oświetlenia na czole światłowodu. Rozkład natężenia badano w naświetlaczu przy wykorzystaniu lampy HQI®- R 150 W.

The distribution of the luminous fluxd density in the focus of a discharge a lamp depends solely on its working position. The main goal of this work was to perform measurements of the distribution of the luminous flux density in the focus of the HQI® - R 150 W lamp, in various working positions. With all possible working positions for this lamp, the measured illuminace distributions are very uneven.

This study focused on developing a new approach to seated work positions as conducted on 67 office workers who use a Visual Display Terminal (VDT) as a major function of their working day. Muscle tension was measured by surface electromyography (sEMG) while participants were asked to adopt 4 selected working postures. Pain was measured before and after ergonomic intervention on the Nordic scale, which was modified for this study. Adjustable workstations were used to place participants in desired positions during the clinical testing sessions and the extended intervention period. Results indicate the effects of this ergonomic intervention may have positive effects on muscle tension and pain, significant enough to encourage employers to implement training and workstation modifications following these guidelines.
