In Ge-Si heterostructure system, strain and compositional changes can be used to change the fundamental indirect absorption edge. It is well known that increase in Ge content in the GexSi₁-x shifts fundamental band edge to the longer wavelengths and causes strong increase in absorption coefficient. Theoretical description of increase in efficiency of solar cells based on this system in comparison with the silicon solar cells is given. A construction of photodiodes using heterostructure Ge₀.₂Si₀.₈/Si is proposed.

Zaproponowano konstrukcję cewki do wytwarzania impulsowych pól magnetycznych pozwalajacą znacznie zwiększyć maksymalną indukcję pola magnetycznego przy niezmiennych parametrach źródła prądu - baterii kondensatorów -a jednocześnie ulepszyć jej trwałość (ilość impulsów o maksymalnej indukcji pola magnetycznego bez destrukcji cewki).

The original construction of the coil to generating high pulsed magnetic fields is proposed. This construction makes possible to increase considerably the maximum values of the magnetic fields at constant parameters of the current source (capacitor battery) and at the same time improve its durability (the number of pulses of the maximum values of magnetic fields without destruction of the coil).
