Specifics of the utilisation of a motorcar by a person with a locomotive disability

The possibility of utilisation of an individually adjusted personal motorcar is one of important preconditions to undertake professional activities by persons with a considerable locomotive disability. This refers, in particular, to persons who move with the assistance of wheel chairs. Typical, serially manufactured personal motorcars are adapted to the requirements resulting from a disability. The original construction of such cars usually does not take into consideration specific needs of disabled persons. The objective of this study was to elaborate a list of specific car design requirements for a driver with a locomotive disability. The object of the performed analyses was the process of car driving (problems associated with independent loading and unloading of a foldable wheelchair were omitted). Furthermore, the authors did not study ergonomic issues associated with the maladjustment of individual devices adapting the car. The analysed data were obtained following interviews based on questionnaires submitted by disabled users of personal cars. All respondents moved about with the aid of wheelchairs and their disability was the result of injuries of the spinal cord (paraplegia and tetraplegia). The result of the investigations is a catalogue of specific ergonomic requirements regarding the operating space of the personal car driver.

W 2004 r. wykonano badania ankietowe dotyczące stanu świadomości ekologicznej wśród studentów i ich rodziców. Badania wykazały znaczna zbieżność poglądów i świadomości respondentów w układzie rodzic i jego dorosłe dziecko. Na szczególne podkreślenie zasługuje fakt, iż ponad 80% studentów uważa zatrucie środowiska naturalnego za podstawowe zagrożenia związane z rozwojem cywilizacji. Analogicznie wśród rodziców takie samo zdanie posiada tylko 51% ankietowanych.

In the 2004 the questionnaire investigations relating the state of ecological consciousness were carried out among students and their parents. The investigations show considerable convergence of the respondents' opinion and between parents and their adult children. It should be stressed that over 80% students consider the environmental protection to be the greatest danger connected with the development of civilization. Such an opinion was represented by only 51% of parents.

Dokonano analizy wyników badań ankietowych w aspekcie walorów użytkowych, zmniejszenia pracochłonności przy doju krów w świetle badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w Niemczech i Holandii. Badania przeprowadzono na grupie 32 robotów udojowych o zróżnicowanej budowie i liczbie stanowisk udojowych. Wykazano, że najwięcej pozytywnych odpowiedzi dotyczyło zmniejszenia pracochłonności pracy, uzyskania więcej czasu wolnego dla gospodarstwa i rodziny przy porównywalnych kosztach inwestycyjnych jak przy doju w dojarni. Jednakże uzyskano zaledwie 10-15 % pozytywnych odpowiedzi w stosunku do poprawy zdrowia wymion krów i poprawy jakości mleka.

The paper presents results of the questionnaire investigations conducted in Germany and Netherlands. The aim of the investigation was to explore usefulness of automatic milking machines, especially its usable parameters and potential decrease of labour cost. The investigations were executed on owners of 32 AMS. Machines were not all of the same type and the number of milking places varied. Most of positive answers concerned labour load it saves. Owners of machines noticed that AMS is less labour demanding than milking process in milking parlors, which needs comparable investment of money. But only 10-15 % of owners said AMS improves health of cows udders and improves milk quality.
