The paper presents the construction of power capacitor reactive power compensation used in medium voltage distribution station. The most common rolling capacitor, used in the power energetic structure of this type of device has been characterized. The initial assumptions have been constructed, of the physical model of implemented power capacitor which is available in the modeling environments, such as Autodesk Inventor and COMSOL Multiphysics.
