Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine the role of organizational unlearning in shaping competitive advantage, with particular attention to its potential mediating mechanisms. The authors aim to expand the traditional perspective, which predominantly emphasizes organizational learning, by exploring how unlearning enables organizations to adapt their knowledge and practices in pursuit of competitive advantage. Design/methodology/approach: The study is based on a quantitative analysis of data collected from 363 randomly selected Polish enterprises. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the relationships between unlearning, creativity, innovation, and competitive advantage. Validated measurement scales were employed, and firm age and size were included as control variables. Findings: Our findings highlight that while organizational unlearning does not directly impact competitive advantage, its effect becomes significant when mediated by organizational creativity. Moreover, our study underscores that although organizational creativity fosters innovation, innovation alone does not directly translate into competitive advantage. These findings challenge conventional assumptions about the linear relationship between unlearning, innovation, and firm performance, suggesting that creativity, rather than innovation, serves as a mediator between unlearning and competitiveness. Research limitations/implications: A key limitation of the study lies in the potential bias resulting from the use of a single data source, as well as the focus on competitive advantage rather than financial metrics. Future research should consider longitudinal and comparative approaches that integrate both qualitative and quantitative perspectives on unlearning across diverse organizational contexts. Practical implications: The study suggests that cultivating a culture of strategic unlearning -through the removal of outdated practices and support for organizational creativity - may enhance organizational agility and long-term performance. Encouraging collaboration, communication, and experimentation could help strengthen organizations' ability to build and sustain competitive advantage. Originality/value: Our paper contributes to knowledge management and organizational change literature by highlighting the strategic importance of creativity in unlearning-driven competitive advantage. It offers a novel empirical perspective that refines existing assumptions about the role of innovation and creativity in linking unlearning to organizational outcomes.

For many entrepreneurs, the terms "supercomputers" or "High-Performance Computing" are primarily associated with academic institutions, theoretical research, or complex graphs understood only by a small group of experts. Somemay also link them with services offered by Google or Amazon to businesses, but "available only to those with largebudgets." This publication aims to demonstrate that supercomputers are increasingly becoming a part of the business land-scape, and not necessarily just for the big companies. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as startups, can successfully benefit from them. By combining a clear explanation of supercomputer capabilities with real-life case studies, the article aims to convince entrepreneurs that HPC is no longer a niche technology, but a real game-changer for SMEs across diverse sectorsof the economy. We will discuss: how the use of supercomputers can create a unique value proposition and expand the customer base; how machine learning and generative AI can scale up business; the path to financing access to supercomputers in Europe. In this paper, we will present two paths for applying for grants: one for entrepreneurs with no prior experience in HPC, and another for those looking to use supercomputers at a more advanced level. We will also provide essential information on the application process, key participation requirements, and the grant application schedule.

Purpose: The purpose of the publication is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the courier services market (CEP) in Poland. The research focuses on identifying the main players in the market, understanding their operating strategies and assessing the impact of innovative solutions on the market. In addition, the aim is to examine the competitive advantages of companies against the background of customer satisfaction levels, the way courier services are delivered, and to analyse innovations in logistics. Design/methodology/approach: The surveys were conducted in three stages in 2020, 2021, and 2022/2023 in the Bydgoszcz metropolitan area. Conducting the surveys in three stages in different years made it possible to analyse changes over time and the mixed methodology using both online (CAWI) and face-to-face (PAPI) surveys allowed us to reach a wider group of respondents. Findings: Pandemic COVID-19 has increased the use of courier services. The current market leader is InPost and the high level of customer satisfaction is due to innovative parcel machines, speed of delivery and convenience of tracking parcels. Research shows that courier company customers value timeliness, efficiency and modern solutions such as parcel machines, which is an important area for courier companies to focus on in their quest for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Research limitations/implications: The results of the study are not representative, but they may be a contribution to a broader and more in-depth analysis of the KEP market and the level of customer satisfaction of courier companies. The limitations of the study include the limited geographical area (Bydgoszcz conurbation) and the small representativeness of the sample, which may affect the generalisation of the results. Research conducted on a larger scale, taking into account different regions of Poland, would provide a more complete picture of the courier services market. Practical implications: The increase in the use of courier services during the pandemic indicates changes in shopping behaviour. It was also found that older people are less likely to use courier services for online purchases, suggesting the need to educate and adapt offers to this customer group. Courier companies should therefore focus on improving service quality, offering innovative delivery solutions, adapting to changing customer preferences and responding flexibly to changing market conditions.Originality/value: The article provides information that can be used to make strategic decisions, tailor services to meet customer needs, increase the company's competitiveness in the CEP market, and build a strong reputation based on actual customer preferences.

Purpose: The purpose of this article is to answer two research questions. The first is: what is the relationship between the business model and the behavioral strategy of companies? The second is: how does the business model determine behavioral strategy? Methodology: The research method of the literature review involved three stages. Stage one consisted of analyzing articles retrieved from Web of Science, Scopus and Google Scholar. Key words typed into the search engine were helpful in selecting articles. The following keywords were used: creative thinking, strategic thinking, business model, business model innovation, competitive strategy, behavioral strategy, organizational intelligence, strategic intelligence, intelligent organization. Stage two involved reviewing the selected articles. Stage three involved analyzing and synthesizing the content of the previously selected publications. In the end, a total of 125 selected articles in Polish and English were analyzed, of which 42 literature items were used in the article in the form of citations and references. Findings: The research confirmed the view that strategy and business model complement each other. Through feedback, they are interdependent on each other and coevolve. The business model is one of the determinants strongly influencing the shape of strategy. Research limitation: The research used a reductionist approach, and therefore ignored numerous other contextual determinants of behavioral strategy. The research focused only on the business model as a determinant of behavioral strategy and on the feedbacks occurring between the studied elements of the concept. Originality/value: The originality of the concept is reflected in its dynamic nature. The dependency analysis is set in a broader context that includes organizational intelligence and intelligent market behavior of enterprises. The concept is valuable because it takes a dynamic approach to clarifying the issue of the business model as a determinant of strategy. A cognitively interesting study could provide an answer to the question: what types of business models are the highest basis for building competitive advantage as one of the elements of strategy.
