Article present analysis of calculation methods to predict heat transfer coefficient of in-pipe boiling natural refrigerants like carbon dioxide, ammonia and propane. Analysis were perform for existing calculation methods prepared for synthetic refrigerants and consisted of number of points within ±50%, mean absolute error and average deviation.
Article present the concept of research station for boiling water inside horizontal channels. It will be built research station to take results of heat transfer coefficient for poor water and water – oil mixture. Result will be placed in data base and compared with literature results for boiling carbon dioxide, ammonia and hydrocarbons. Then it will attempt to create methods to provide heat transfer coefficient of natural refrigerants boiling.
Two-phase flow is used in many branches of industry. Flow patterns are very important because of their impact on many physical aspects of the two-phase flow. Because of this fact and pervasive miniaturization of devices, it was decided to carry out flow hydrodynamic research in small diameter channels.
