This work is focused on possibilities for an increase in the efficiency rates of steam turbine settings. It presents the structure of a new generation of control valves. It also discusses the way of making the control stages more efficient and the possible ways of power loss reduction within grids of high-pressure cylinder profiles. In this context, some methods of increasing the efficiency rate of the last stages of steam turbines and exhaust outlet pipes are concisely analyzed. In conclusions, some factors influencing the growth in the efficiency of power steam turbines and some perspective directions of further development are briefly mentioned.

Praca jest poświęcona ocenie możliwości zwiększenia sprawności energetycznej turbiny parowej. Przedstawiono zarys konstrukcji zaworów sterujących nowej generacji. Przedyskutowano sposoby powiększania sprawności stopni kierujących oraz zmniejszania strat w układach profili w obszarze wysokich ciśnień. Omówiono metody zwiększenie sprawności na ostatnich stopniach turbin parowych oraz w układach wylotowych. We wnioskach opisano czynniki wpływające na wzrost sprawności turbin parowych oraz niektóre perspektywiczne kierunki dalszego ich rozwoju.
