Omówiono przypadki dachu wentylowanego i niewentylowanego z pokryciem wentylowanym. Przedstawiono metody wykonania szczelin wokół elementów dachu takich jak: kominy, okna dachowe i wyłazy, a także wokół naroży, koszy dachu oraz lukarn.

Artykuł rozpoczyna nowy cykl dotyczący wentylacji dachów i stropodachów, w którym oprócz podstawowych zasad wentylowania dachów, omówione zostaną problemy nowoczesnych materiałów foliowych stosowanych w konstrukcjach dachowych.

The article begins a new series on the ventilation of roofs and flat roofs, in which, in addition to the basic principles of ventilation roofs, the problems of modern materials will be discussed foil used in roof structures. The author explains where the moisture and water vapor come from, as well as the mechanism formation of condensation. The illustrations show the effects of poor ventilation roof or lack thereof.
Zapewnienie wysokiej trwałości obiektu nowo budowanego lub remontowanego jest pierwszoplanowym zadaniem projektującego i nadzoru technicznego. Powierzchowna znajomość zasad pracy konstrukcji wykonawcy sprzyja powstawaniu błędów, usterek, wad, a to obniża trwałość obiektu.

Ensuring high durability of a newly built or renovated facility is the primary task of the designer and technical supervision. A superficial knowledge of the construction work principles of the contractor is conducive to the occurrence of errors, faults, defects, and this reduces the durability of the object. On the example of a repaired pitched roof, cases of errors made as a result of the supervisor’s excessive trust in the contractor who employed workers without satisfactory professional training were shown. Supervision by the Investor did not detect some errors, seemingly trivial but significantly reducing the durability of the renovated steep roof. The mistakes consisted mainly in directing the water to places where it moistened the rafters. In turn, the drying of these elements was hindered by the clogging of the ventilation channels in the roof: sawdust, garbage left on the foil of the initial covering, which slid down to the eaves.
