Artykuł prezentuje analizę kontaktową MES meblowego połączenia kątowego. Zbudowano model skończenie - elementowy połączenia. Dokonano analizy rozkładów naprężeń w elementach połączenia. Zweryfikowano niektóre założenia dotyczące budowy analitycznych modeli obliczeniowych. Zaproponowano kierunki dalszych badań teoretycznych i doświadczalnych o potencjalnie istotnym znaczeniu w procesie projektowania mebli.

The paper presents a FEM contact analysis of a furniture angle joint with a circular cam. A finite element model of the joint was created. The stress pattern in the joint elements was analyzed. Some assumptions concerning the formulation of analytical computational models were verified. Directions of further theoretical and experimental studies were proposed, which may be of significant importance in the process of furniture design.
