W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy zmian nacisku pióra zarejestrowanego podczas rysowania spirali Archimedesa za pomocą tabletu graficznego. Badania przeprowadzono dla osób zdrowych i osób z chorobą Parkinsona. Do oceny zmienności nacisku przyjęto parametry statystyczne. Badania wykazały, że miary przyjęte do oceny zmienności nacisku można wykorzystać w diagnostyce pacjentów z chorobą Parkinsona.

The article presents the results of the analysis of pen pressure changes recorded while drawing Archimedes' spiral using a graphics tablet. The research was conducted for healthy people and people with Parkinson's disease. Statistical parameters were adopted to assess the pressure variability. Studies have shown that the measures used to assess pressure variability can be used in the diagnosis of patients with Parkinson's disease.
Statistical approach to Control Performance Assessment (CPA) is of great practical importance. This is particularly visible in process industry, where there are many PID loops. They are often assessed with measures derived from the Gaussian probabilistic density function. Standard deviation, variance, skewness or kurtosis form the majority of applied indexes. The review of data originating from process industry shows, however, to the contrary, that these signals have rather non-Gaussian properties and are mostly characterized by fat-tailed distribution disable the ability. Investigations show that strong disturbances may significantly disable the capacity of proper assessment. Standard measures often fail in such cases. It is shown that non-Gaussian measures can help with this problem. Various disturbances are tested and compared. Results show that fat-tailed distributions are an interesting alternative. They are less sensitive to disturbance shadowing and still make possible loop dynamic assessment.
The cumulative impact of wave and wind on vessel speed are presented. In theory, the influence of wind on ship has been separated including appropriate speed and wind direction. Greater impact on the overall loss rate has been assigned to ship waving. Determination of separate influence of wind and wave calculation was adopted to SPOS.

W artykule zaprezentowano łączne oddziaływanie falowania i wiatru na prędkość statku. Teoretycznie wydzielono wpływ wiatru na statek, uwzględniając odpowiednie prędkości i kierunki wiatru. Większy wpływ na ogólne straty prędkości statku przypisano falowaniu. Określenie oddzielnego wpływu wiatru i falowania adoptowano do programu obliczeniowego SPOS.

The paper presents the new statistical measures for comparison of the propagation model accuracy, which can help to choose the optimal model and its parameters. Using the traditional and the new statistical measures and the results of the propagation measurements in Warsaw and the region of Warsaw, the comparison of a few UHF propagation models for FM radio has been done.
