In his philosophical discourse, the author presents a problem of philosophical placement of the education toward security concepts in philosophical, scientific, religious, and those based on ideological and moral standards of the education. Expanding his description, the focus falls on the essence of education, on one hand, considered as a learning and knowledge gathering activity, and on the other, as a teaching and socialization process. In a perspective presented, the author researches and axiological fundament of a contemporary education systems in its three standard exemplifications (as shown by Stefan Kunowski). That is, referring to idea of Love, Freedom and Enforcement. According to the author the challenges of modernity forced creation of a next system that reevaluates the previous three paradigms. It is a system of education toward security based on philosophy of security that concentrates on those issues of being allowing the understanding of existence, survival, development and excellence.

The aim of the article is to show the importance of mass media and the possibility to use them in rescue operations. It is connected with the fact that currently the needs to inform the public have forced the necessity of an appropriate cooperation with mass media. Effective warning against danger, showing the ways how to act in a threatening situation, support or delaying rescue and order efforts of services conducting rescue operations may depend on this co-operation. Therefore the article describes warning and informing about threat, social awareness in a threat situation as it conditions the speed of reaction to threat informing the public after a disaster or calamity, and also co-operation with media and using them to transmit statements and appeals. The article is finished with conclusions relating to improving the use of mass media in rescue operations.

W artykule przedstawiono genezę i ewolucję naturalnego ekosystemu żywieniowego człowieka. Omówiono kierunki rozwoju przemysłu spożywczego w kontekście rodzajów żywności produkowanej w świecie. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na żywność funkcjonalną i modyfikowaną genetycznie, zasygnalizowano główne ograniczenia w rozwoju technologii spożywczej w świetle produkcji żywności funkcjonalnej, hipoalergicznej i psycho-aktywnej. Przemysł spożywczy powinien przygotowywać się do przetwarzania surowców transgenicznych. Zasygnalizowano potrzebę zmiany programów nauczania i edukacji społeczeństwa.

The article presents the genesis and evolution of natural food ecosystem for humans. The trends in the food industry development were also discussed in view of food products produced in the world. Particular attention was paid to functional and genetically modified foods. In conclusion, the main determinants of technology development in future were signalized, so as to cope with an increase of production of functional, hypoallergic and psychoactive foods. The food industry has to be prepared for the processing of transgenic raw materials. The nee for changes of education programmes together with the education of society is pointed out.
