EN Brief review of European documents essential for fire safety of building constructions is presented for both reaction to fire and fire resistance. More detailed analysis of reaction to fire classification is given for products demonstrating higher (A1, A2, B, or C) classes, on the basis of test results obtained for the group of materials studied. Also the attestation of conformity of fire protective products in the light of Directive 89/106/EC is shortly described.
