### Mathematical Model of Biomass Combustion Process in Fixed Bed

 EN The paper presents mathematical model of biomass combustion process in fixed bed. The model considers four processes: drying, devolatilization, char combustion and reactions in gaseous phase, which consists of O2, N2, H20, CO, CO2, H2, CH4, CxHy and tar. Products of devolatilization process depend on heating rate and bed temperature. Char burns to CO and CO2, and reactions rate in gaseous phase depends on kinetic and mixing rate of the substrates. Results shows, that the whole process consists of three stages: i) initial heating and ignition, ii) drying, devolatilization and combustion of gaseous products, and iii) char combustion. The paper presents gas composition over, and along the bed as well as temperature distribution of solid fraction.
