Modeling of NO x Reduction in Natural Gas Reburning Process with Pressure Pulsations

Abstrakty
EN The experimental studies and mathematical modeling of reburning process are presented. The combustion process was intensified by pulsating disturbances introduced to the reaction zone by pressure or by pulsating inflow of reburning gas. Two simulation models were used. In the first model FLUENT code was used with NO reduction reactions selected on the basis of literature and preliminary simulations. In the second model modified KIVA -3 V code and Chemkin package were used with chemical reactions adopted from Miller-Bowman scheme. The qualitative spatial distributions of reactant concentrations were obtained from simulations with the possibility of assessment of the rate of reactions for various conditions. The results enable for assessment of effectiveness of the methods used on reburning efficiency.
