Abstrakty
EN Electric motor components consist of laminated electrical steels. These separated sheets need fixture to create a bulk construction. Welding is one of the appropriate fastening processes, which are used for fixing the separated sheets by diffusion bonding. Besides the conventional welding methods, laser welding is an alternative technology which ensures further advantages. The well controllable laser process offers the possibility to create the necessary weld bead geometry. In this research work, laser welding of laminated electrical steel was investigated with Nd:YAG laser source. There is a lot of choice to get the proper laser equipment. In this paper, we investigated the parameter of the pulsed laser beam and the weldability of laminated electrical steel.
