Abstrakty
EN The paper presents the problems of control of isolated self-excited induction generator used to operate under variable speed. The systems of three-phase isolated induction generator with excitation from a three-phase PWM inverter with a single capacitor on the DC side are presented. The use of a static PWM inverter for controlling of induction generator excitation gives a better transient response and a smooth variation of excitation current. The systems of PWM excitations with PWM inverter placed in series or shunt with induction generator and hybrid system are presented. The vector control methods of self-excited induction generator are developed and discussed. The control schemes based on generator magnetic field orientation are presented. The direct and indirect control based on rotor flux orientation and control based on direct stator flux orientation are described. The stator flux oriented vector control requires decoupling blocks in the control circuits. Some selected results of simulation of control performance are presented.
