PL Przedstawiono stan badań europejskich dotyczących problemu zanieczyszczania środowiska przez produkty korozji metali z wyszczególnieniem cynku. Zwrócono uwagę na zaznaczający się udział metali pochodzących z produktów korozji w zanieczyszczaniu wód powierzchniowych. Przeprowadzone w wielu krajach badania wykazały, że do ok. 10% cynku w wodach powierzchniowych pochodzi z produktów jego korozji. Przeanalizowano wpływ warunków środowiskowych na szybkość korozji cynku oraz rozpuszczalność produktów korozji cynku na podstawie badań monitoringowych korozyjności atmosfery prowadzonych w sieci krajowych stacji korozyjnych. Oszacowano wielkość rocznych ubytków cynku wynikających z rozpuszczania się produktów korozji dla różnych kategorii korozyjności środowiska, materiałów konstrukcyjnych i położenia elementów względem działania czynników korozyjnych.
EN The results of European investigations concerning the issue of environmental pollution caused by products of corrosion, particularly those of zinc, were presented. Attention was drawn to an increasing share of metals derived from corrosion products in the pollution of surface water and soil. Research carried out in many European countries concluded that about 10% of zinc found in surface water was a product of the process of zinc corrosion. The influence of environmental conditions on the corrosion rate of zinc as well as the solubility of its corrosion products of zinc based on atmospheric corrosion monitoring investigations carried out in the network of Polish corrosion sites was analysed. The annual release rates of zinc from corrosion products (run-off) for different categories of environmental corrosivity, structural materials and the positioning of elements in relation to the activity of corrosion factors was analysed.
