Influence of the heat transfer on the specific thermal capacity of the flowing compressible fluid
Heat transfer [dq różne od 0] between gas flowing in a diathermic channel and external heat sources influences fundamentally the changes of the gas parameters and the flow functions along the way of the gas flow. A general classification of the possible flow cases has been elaborated in the first part of the paper. The supplied heat causes changes both in the enthalpy of the flowing gas, as well as its kinetic energy; therefore the specific thermal capacity of the gas c[R] in these flow conditions is variable too. The typical model formulation of the diathermic and frictionless flow is the Rayleigh flow. Using the equations system (continuity equation, balance of the energy, conservation of the motion, thermal and calorific functions of the state) relating to the basic flow laws, the influence of the Mach number (Ma) on the specific thermal capacity c[R] of the gas flowing in the diathermic channel has been determined and analysed.
