Abstrakty
PL MEKAS jest metodologią analizy wiedzy pierwotnie opracowaną na Uniwersytecie w Liverpoolu. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono główne założenia metodologii, jak również zwrócono uwagę na rolę jednego ważnego aspektu metodologii Mekas nieobecnego w innych metodach, a mianowicie nacisku na badanie ewolucji dziedziny w czasie, krótko nazwane historią dziedziny. Historia ta może odgrywać kluczową rolę w identyfikacji charakteru dziedziny i rodzaju używanych teorii i reguł. Dodatkowo analiza historii dziedziny może pomóc w odpowiednim doborze wsparcia, które może być dostarczone przez systemy komputerowe. Ponadto zwrócono uwagę na możliwość zastosowania metody Mekas w systemach doradczych dla górnictwa w celu wychwycenia reguł i założeń działania eksperta w rozwiązywaniu konkretnego przypadku. Metodologia może pomóc w wychwyceniu wiedzy ukrytej, którą niejednokrotnie trudno wyartykułować.
EN MEKAS is a methodology of knowledge analysis, primary developed at the University of Liverpool. This paper presents the main principles of this methodology as well as the role of one important aspect which does not exist in other methods, namely the emphasis on the discovery of the field of knowledge over time or, more simply, the history of the field. The history may play an important part in the identification of the field’s nature and the type of the employed theories and rules. Furthermore, the field’s history analysis may simplify the proper selection of support, e.g. by use of computer systems. Moreover, particular attention was paid to the possibility of applying the MEKAS methodology in advisory systems for the mining industry in order to pick up the principles and rules of the expert effort to solve a particular problem. This methodology may be helpful in the discovery of the hidden knowledge which is often hard to express.
